Placing Flags on Veterans’ Graves

Help us remember our heroes! Take part in observing Memorial Day!Who? Adults, parents and children, scouts, and patriots of all types.Where? Walton Cemetery, 5 Park Street, Pepperell, Massachusetts.When? Saturday, May 28, 2022 8:00 a.m Doors open at the Red Brick Schoolhouse to the right of the cemetery. Refreshments provided: Enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, and munchkins.
9:00 a.m. Program begins.•Master of Ceremonies: Veteran, Tony Saboliauskas. •6th Middlesex Regiment discusses uniforms and muskets.•The Prudence Wright Story: Women who captured British spies!•Bunker Hill Memorial Bench: Honor roll of those KIA (Killed In Action) and musket volley.•Colonel Prescott Tomb: Wreath, flag, musket volley, and prayer.•Flags will be provided for everyone to place on veterans’ graves in adjoining cemetery. This program is hosted by the Prudence Wright Chapter, NSDAR.
